  • NCCIH is now participating in the funding opportunity “Model Continuums of Care Initiative (MCCI) to Advance Health Equity and End Health Disparities Among Women and Girls in Racial/Ethnic Minority and Other Underserved Communities (U34 Clinical Trials Required)” (RFA-AA-24-006). For information on NCCIH’s areas of interest, see NOT-AT-24-043. The next application due date is October 18, 2024.  
  • A due date is coming up on October 5, 2024, for new applications to PAR-23-122, the Research With Activities Related to Diversity (ReWARD) program. The ReWARD program supports the health-related research of scientists who are making a significant contribution to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) and who have no current NIH research project grant funding. The program provides funding for both the scientific research and DEIA activities of investigators. 
  • Video recordings of the workshop, “Complementary and Integrative Interventions To Prevent and Mitigate the Effects of Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals,” are now available on the NCCIH website, with captioning in both English and Spanish. You may be especially interested in the session on endocrine disruptors as drivers of health disparities, which starts at 40:21 on Day 2.
