  • The next submission deadline for the Research With Activities Related to Diversity (ReWARD) R01 funding opportunity is February 5, 2025. The ReWARD program provides support for the health-related research of scientists who are making a significant contribution to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) and who have no current National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant funding. 
  • Reminder: The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) will be exhibiting at the SACNAS 2024 NDiSTEM conference from October 31 to November 2. If you’re attending, please come to our booth to meet with NCCIH program staff.  
  • The video of the recent lecture “Advancing Health Equity Through Community-Engaged Research,” by Dr. Nakela Cook, director of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), is available online. This event was sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. 
  • Applications are being accepted now through November 21 for the NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRP). These programs may repay up to $100,000 of your qualified student loan debt over 2 years.
