Survey: More employers offer on-site health clinics Last year 33% of large employers had on-site, general medical clinics, compared with 24% in 2012, according to a survey from Mercer and National Association of Worksite Health Centers. The survey found 83% of employers offering an on-site clinic gave it high marks for employee satisfaction and almost two-thirds were happy with how the clinic increased engagement in wellness programs. Rule scaling back ACA birth control coverage could be issued soon The Trump administration could soon issue a final rule scaling back the Affordable Care Act's coverage requirements for birth control by permitting more employers to stop covering contraceptives on moral and religious grounds, despite injunctions issued by courts in California and Pennsylvania targeting an interim final rule. The rule is being reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget, and a Department of Health and Human Services spokesperson didn't provide a timeline for its release.
