Walter messaged me at 2am on a Saturday night…

He was at an Urgent Care Emergency Room just outside of Fort Worth, Texas…

“Craig, I finally understand how you felt in your books…”

“I’m sitting in the ER with a crushing pain in my chest…”

“My business is falling apart… I’m working all the time… and now I’m having a panic attack and my wife is terrified that I’m dying…

“We don’t understand why this is happening… I’m a former Marine… survived 4 years in Iraq… today I’m a cop in Dallas and run a gym on the side… Please tell me it’s going to be okay.”

I remember helping Walter through those next few days to get him back to normal…

And then over the next few weeks as we fixed his business.

But if Walter wouldn’t have been vulnerable enough to message me…

Who knows where he’d be now.

I was once like Walter…

Working so much, doing everything myself, and grinding myself into the ground until I had to say “no mas” and go to the ER too.

I will not let that happen to you.

So unless you want to limit your income, jack up your stress levels, and burn yourself out as fast as possible...

Avoid THESE mistakes...

1. Saying “I Will Do It Myself”

These 5 words will kill you.

You CANNOT do everything... nor should you.

You don’t have to edit the videos… you don’t have to send the emails… and you definitely don’t have to do payroll and accounting.

It’s not your job to carry the entire business on your back.

You MUST ask for help.

And you MUST do whatever you can to hire people so you can work ON the business not IN it.

Delegation is the tool that will set you free.

2. Playing not to lose

If you don’t step out of your comfort zone, try new ideas, and take calculated risks...

It’s impossible to grow and make more money.

If you’re always playing defence, focused on protecting what you have…

You’ll miss the big plays that create explosive business growth.

For example, today the demand for organic, healthy foods is higher than ever…

But in 1980 when John Mackey and Renee Lawson-Hardy started Whole Foods…

Almost nobody was talking about organic kale or grass-fed beef.

But because they were playing to win…

They decided to leave their thriving grocery stores and pursue their vision for a chain of natural food stores.

The choice paid off with years of success and a $13.7 Billion exit when Whole Foods was acquired by Amazon in 2017.

3. Following everyone else’s advice

This is a tough one because it’s so tempting to follow “conventional wisdom”.

Especially when you’re getting the same advice from family, friends, and people you grew up with.

But please remember most people in the world follow the same ideas and general behaviors…

And they live average lives of very limited success and income.

You are not average and you never intend to be.

So consider whether “conventional wisdom” is really right for you in the first place.

Most “play it ultra safe” advice comes from people who love you and don’t want to see you get hurt (so we’ll give ‘em a pass ;)

However, we still have to take into account whether they know anything about business or ever achieved success themselves.

---

Now as simple as all that may sound...

I see business owners making these same mistakes over and over again.

They’re especially common with entrepreneurs who come from a background like I did...

Who grew up poor or very modest means… worked construction, farming, or trades jobs…

Many who are still in those or similar industries today.

We are what I call “Blue Collar Entrepreneurs”.

The ones with the killer work ethic who aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty.

But it’s often accompanied by a lot of mental and environmental roadblocks…

Roadblocks which hold us back by showing up in ways like the 3 I listed above.

Because we grew up working hard — without a lot of money to go around — we think if we CAN do the task... we SHOULD do the task.

And that mentality gets us doing too many $15 and $10 per hour tasks we should be paying someone else to do.

If you can pay somebody, hire an assistant, or contract someone through Upwork to do the $10/hour tasks for you…

PLEASE do...

...so you can go make $200, $500, or $2500 per hour and more!

That blue collar mindset is something I used to struggle with a lot.

In fact I still work on it every day.

But I’ve managed to overcome my mental barriers to build five different 7-figure businesses.

And I’ll show you how to do the same.

I found a fool proof way anyone can break free from the false beliefs and “labels” they grew up with...

And achieve HUGE success in business and life.
