Fancy seeing your work on our gallery walls this summer? The 2023 Atelier OPEN is open for entries.

Last year we filled the arches with more than 250 pieces of work by 130 artists in a show seen by thousands of vistors over July and August. This year it could be you. Enter today and be part of this epic summer show. We're happy to receive applications from artists working in any medium (just about!), and at any stage of their career.

New work from Sarah Packington

Inspired by mid century textile designers such as Lucienne Day and Joanne Groag, and abstract artists like Mondrian and Miro, Sarah combines their joyful shapes and colour combinations into elegant acrylic and silver jewellery. See Sarah's new work here.

MAKE in April

It's about this time of year when it starts to get really glorious down here on Brighton seafront, and there's no nicer place to spend the day than in our classroom next to the beach. We've got some great courses coming up next month - Textiles: A Sense of Place with Samantha Boot; A two-day Jewellery Masterclass with David J Lilly (as seen on All That Glitters); Gelli Printing wth Denise Harrison; and our Atelier Art Club begins.
