We set an ambitious goal to raise $260,000 in just six weeks to support our 2025 efforts to bring you exceptional Jewish journalism — and we exceeded it! Then on the first day of Hanukkah we raised our goal to $325,000 — and we reached that goal, too!

This community really came through. More than 2,000 members stepped up to the challenge and helped us hit our goal. Including matching funds, we now have more than $340,000 as we turn our attention to 2025 and whatever news it brings.

Last night we lit the last Hanukkah candle. The full menorah, burning brightly in the darkness, is our beautiful annual testament to Jewish resilience.


Whatever 2025 brings, the Forward will be there to cover it. And I’m so grateful to have the support of our readers and members as we move forward, together.
