The CUSP adventure has come to a close, but its impact will live on. As the European Research Cluster to Understand the Health Impacts of Micro- and Nanoplastics (CUSP) officially ended in April 2025, we invite you to read our 8th and final newsletter — a vibrant reflection on four remarkable years of science, collaboration, and discovery.

In this final edition, you will find a rich mix of insights: highlights from our last cluster and project meetings, key scientific breakthroughs across all five projects, and a preview of what’s next. Two major outputs — the CUSP Research Roadmap and the third Policy Brief — are on the horizon and will soon help guide future research and regulation.

The newsletter also celebrates the spirit of collaboration that has made CUSP a success — with over 75 organisations, 21 countries, more than a hundred publications, and countless connections that will fuel the next chapter of micro- and nanoplastics research.
