Two Koreas Strike Sweeping Deal Over Winter Olympics

South Korea struck a sweeping deal with North Korea that marks the South's most dramatic embrace of its northern rival in a decade, brokering an agreement over the Winter Olympics that will bring hundreds of North Korean athletes, cheerleaders and politicians to the South.

The deal, announced by South Korea's Ministry of Unification, will also bring South Korean athletes and performers north of the demilitarized zone for training at a North Korean ski resort and a cultural event at a scenic mountain resort.
