| President Biden is expected to announce a series of updates about the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, including plans to move thousands of Afghan translators out of the country by the end of August, according to administration officials. The administration has yet to determine where translators would be moved while they await approval to enter the U.S. but “it is likely to be a mix of third countries and U.S. territory,” a senior administration official said. “For now this is very much in progress.” |
