Posted: 08 Nov 2016 09:31 AM PST

3 hours and $1200 is all it takes to have the cutest tiny house in the world! Called the France house for its 3 colored zones that resemble the French flag, this miniature dwelling by Pin-up Houses is an experimentation in super-fast, affordable prefab that’s entirely DIY!

This tiny house consists of 21 insulated panels. The separated panels are connected together with threaded rods, so the house can be assembled and reassembled easily in just one day.

It’s made up of three main spaces. The blue space for sleeping is divided by a multifunctional partition, which simultaneously serves as shelves and an entrance to the bedroom. Psychologically, the color blue is the most suitable for a good night sleep. The white-colored space serves as the day zone with multifunctional seats and a table. White makes perfect sense as it makes the space you’ll spend the most time in feel larger. The wood-burning stove and kitchenette are appropriately found in the red space.

There you have it, blue, white and red; the colors of the French flag and the color-coordinated spaces found in this unique tiny house!

Snapchatting in the Snow!

If there was one thing that impressed me about Nokia’s phones, it was the ability for the touchscreen to sense your fingertips through gloves. Sadly that highly underrated and necessary feature died with the brand. However, regardless of how un-smart your smartphone’s screen is, your gloves can compensate for that, allowing you to use your phone even in the harshest weather (when you could probably need it the most!). The Double Layered Touchscreen Gloves by Mujjo are intelligent in their own right by being capacitive-sensitive, allowing you work your smartphones with incredible dexterity while keeping those ten little fingers toasty warm.

The Mujjo Touchscreen Gloves are in-fact crafted especially to allow you to use your phone with ease. They say that you spend close to 20% of your day holding your phone, and cold weather shouldn’t stop you. The gloves come with a magnetic snap enclosure that allow a stronger bond between your palm and the phone, preventing it from accidentally slipping out of your hands (in case they begin going numb)… There’s even silicon dot pattern on the outside increases friction so that moisture or snow doesn’t become a problem.

Even with its incredible touchscreen-friendly abilities, the Mujjo are a hell of a pair of gloves. They come with an extra woolen layer for added insulation and even a leather cuff-strap to tightly secure them around your wrist. The fabric is engineered in a way that allows one size to fit all hands, and even stand the test of time, with its durable anti-pilling properties. So go ahead! Don’t stop yourself from tweeting about your insane snow-boarding experience… or clicking a selfie with the snowman you just built!

Peaceful Illumination

The Moment lamp takes inspiration from a somewhat dark yet entirely hopeful place. Its deep symbolism is a reminder of war – specifically, the moment in which an explosion occurs and bright light is emitted in all directions. Designed to rest on and overhang from any edged surface, it’s at once a stunning light source, sculptural accent, and reminder of the importance of peace.

A Modern Twist on Turkish Coffee

Sedat Ozer’s Kaffa combines trend and tradition in a beautiful, minimalist take on the Turkish coffee pot. Modeled after the conical shape of the time-tested original, the design allows users to enjoy the Turkish method of coffee brewing from anywhere, without the need for fire. A portable, rechargeable heating pad heats the extremely fine grounds just until boiling at which time the container can be removed from the heat. This process can be repeated several times, resulting in a thick, extremely flavorful brew.
