Designers broadly aim for two reactions to their design. For other designers to go “I wish I had thought of that”, and for everyone else to go “I want to own that”. The Leather Duffle 6-in-1 backpack ticks both those boxes. In fact nothing I say here even matters because chances are you’re already in love with it, just like how I am. Let’s just put it here that the video above has garnered as many as 4 million views on our Facebook page in a span of 4 days.

For the people new to this marvel of good design and spectacular build, the Leather Duffle is a one-of-a-kind modular backpack that allows you to swap, switch, merge, and separate components to create the storage solution you need on a day-to-day basis. The Duffel is truly modular and comes in three main designs. The Pro stores your esseentials, providing a practical and light travel solution. The full size backpack has a 15 litre capacity, giving you enough storage for a day or two. The further beefed up Duffel gives you even more storage, making it perfect for travel. The magic is when these three individual storage units join together to form more personalized and integrated storage solution. Based on your needs, you can zip any of the two bags together to make one super-bag that takes care of all your needs! In an innovative way, WAVE combines the functions of an air conditioner and an air purifier to cool and clean the air in a room. Designed in two parts, the ‘sub-body’ is portable and can be placed separately to as a purifier. High on efficiency, the spiral airflow cools the room uniformly and adds bliss to a sweltering hot day.

The wall-mounted part functions as the air conditioner and is hooked up to a smaller dock on the right, which charges and holds the portable air purifier. The good thing about this design is that when used together, the air conditioner and the purifier are an excellent example of form following function.

For many, driving is like therapy – just put on your Zen music and head out to declutter your mind and mend your broken heart. Google and Apple are already hoping to disrupt this with their self-driving car projects, but Mercedes-Benz hopes to notch up the experience with their F 015 Luxury in Motion concept car.

In their own words, they hope to transform cars as a pure means of transport into a private retreat.

Features:

• Extended Sense sensor system, an intelligent eye that senses the movements surrounding the car. The car acts as a link between the driver and the pedestrian, for example, the large rear LED display can showcase short messages for the traffic behind and the front-facing laser projection can display a virtual crosswalk.
• To enhance acoustic communication, the car uses sounds and voice prompts.
• The colored lights indicate the current driving mode – blue for autonomous and white for manual.
• In case there is a person standing directly behind or in front of the car, an undulating tracking light moves across the display in sync with the pedestrian’s movement as though to say, “I’ve seen you.”
• A smart system allows the authorized passenger in via the smartphone app or wearable device. Six display screens are integrated into the dashboard, the rear and the side panels. Gestures, eye-tracking and interacting via the high-resolution touchscreens, makes this a luxe experience.
• Variable seating options with four pivoting lounge chairs, allowing passengers to face each other and sit.
