Taking inspiration from Airbus’ existing family of cutting-edge aircraft, the Airbus A-180 Drone project looks a lot like something that might already exist in their modern fleet! However, the scaled-down design is less concerned with moving people and more about helping them during emergencies.

To deliver a payload of emergency supplies, it utilizes three double engines – one at the rear for forward thrust and two integrated in the wings for upward and downward maneuvering. Able to take off and land vertically or horizontally, it can safely enter danger zones. Upon arrival, it releases a cargo capsule capable of transporting everything from medicine and antivenin to supplemental blood and even organs.

The medical cargo capsule has the ability to keep a certain temperature cool or warm and its cap has vacuum sealing to protect the cargo.

To achieve 194 km/h, the drone has a smooth, integrated and aerodynamic body.

The latest in Turing Phone’s “LiquidMorphium” line of smartphones, the Appassionato is certainly as the name suggests. The company is promising a stunning (if not ambitious) amount of tech with the upcoming September release. The company states it will have passive voice command search tools, a robust mobile protection platform, amplified intelligence, and, of course, a dedicated enhanced-concierge service called Sir Alan that’s sure to be better than everyone else’s.

Spec-wise, little is known about the RAM, cams, and storage… the one thing we’re sure of, however, is the whole LiquidMorphium material is pretty cool. As the company states, it’s got a “diamond-like” carbon coating on top, “high-tech” ceramic feel and scratch resistant surface, as well as a Sapphire glass screen.

Air drops for disaster relief can mean the difference between life and death. This concept expands on the existing service to provide not only supplies but shelter for individuals in need.

The idea combines the functionality of a parachute and a tent. Whether it’s in a war torn area or natural disaster zone, Airborne Tent comes in like a parachute and airdrops supplies for the victims. Beyond delivering supplies, the parachute also readily transforms into a temporary tent for the victims who need shelter. A built-in pump makes it quick and easy to inflate without the need for additional tools or even much construction know-how.

ICMYI (In Case You Missed It) turns out, Elon Musk isn’t joking. The traffic in Los Angeles pushed him to reinvent travel yet again… first with Tesla, second (and more broadly) with SpaceX), now the Boring Company aims at doing something you would expect from an Isaac Asimov novel.

The basic plan (as the video shows) is to convert the entire city’s underground into a dizzying network of life-size Hot Wheels tracks that cross, overlap, merge, etc., covering each and every nook and corner of the city. To regulate the traffic, cars wouldn’t drive on these tracks… They would be carried on platforms that move at speeds as high as 200kmph (even though your car isn’t technically moving, you’ll still need that seatbelt). These platforms appear on the road above and when the car parks itself inside it, they descend downwards into the network of tunnels and take off. It’s safe to say that this will obviously take some time, since Mr. Musk has a lot of projects to work on. Putting humans on Mars being one of the loftier objectives!

If the future of racing looks anything like this, I’m highly interested! This concept Porsche race car by Zhang Ningbo showcases a highly fluid design with a slight Daniel Simon touch to it. The electric car is for a future in which drivers won’t sit within the car, but outside, with remote-controllers, operating the cars like drones. A render of the cockpit shows a pretty big 360° camera where the driver would normally sit. The cockpit remains fully covered to prevent the camera from getting damaged.

The Subwing is like Superman meets Aquaman! You literally fly underwater with this super-thrilling, maneuverable underwater surfboard. Just strap it to a jet-ski or a motorboat, as you would for water-skiing, but instead of having water only splash in your face while you ski, you could just fly inside the water!

The Subwing comes with two wings that rotate on a common axis. Just the way rudders work on a plane, or fins work on fishes, the wings on the Subwing allow you to move upwards, downwards, and spin pirouettes endlessly inside the water like some sort of real-life underwater Temple Run!
