As you might infer from the name, the “MarshMallow” speaker is wireless audio inspired by everyone’s favorite fluffy confection! It’s shaped smoothly, clad in cushy padding and covered in a super soft fabric. It also featured a scooped button that is oddly addicting to press! Not only will you love playing your tunes from just about anywhere, you won’t be able to keep your hands off it!

An Even Easier Rice Cooker

Rice cookers have completely simplified the process of making delicious, fluffy rice, but they haven’t managed to solve that one annoying step of measuring the water. Until now! The Masterchef Rice Cooker by Jung Junyoung takes out the guesswork. Depending on the amount of rice you’ve placed in the container, it will automatically alert you when you’ve poured in the right amount of water. Using a dedicated smartphone app, you can also make adjustments depending on the type of rice or way you like it cooked.

I Dare you to Lose your Keys

The idea of losing one’s personal belongings can be a true nightmare. Having to cancel all your cards, order all your new cards, get new keys cut for the house – all in all, it’s an incident nobody wants to have. Luckily for all of us, connected device maker ‘Tile’ is rolling out a more premium line of it’s ever popular lost item trackers, with the launch of its Tile Pro series. Tile, to date, has now sold over 10 million of its Bluetooth-connected dongles that work with an app on your phone to help you find misplaced items, like your keys, purse, wallet, tablets, laptops, luggage and more. The reason why Tile is increasingly popular is due to the way it works. Seems straight forward right? The trick is that Tile can leverage its community of millions of app users to help you find your device, even when you’re out of range. That is, if another Tile user is near your missing device, an alert with the location attached is sent to your phone.

Where originally the Tile Mate – Tile’s first ever device – had a range of 100 feet, they have now doubled that to 200 feet, meaning you can locate your device even easier when you’re not so close. The ring that comes from the Tile when you’re not so close, is now twice as loud as the original Tile. The Tile Pro series consists of two models – the dark slate and graphic design named the Tile Sport which from it’s material choices can be seen as the heavier duty on-the-go model and a white and gold design named the Tile Style which is explanatory in the name. The Tile Pro series has advanced water protection from the Tile Mate, for those pesky times you drop your keys in sink, or for the rare occasion of the toilet.

Your In-flight Meal Just Got Upgraded

Tableware is transforming and evolving every day. In most households, you’ll find there are specific groups of tableware for specific uses – everyday use, special occasions, specialty meats and cheeses and even someone else’s cutlery or delft thrown in for good measure. It is due to the evolution of culinary skills and advances that make a range of meals more accessible for the everyday household. However, it’s not just household dining experiences which are evolving, 30,000 feet up in the air, evolution is advancing at an alarming rate, and the dining experience is no exception.

Recently, Caon Studio collaborated with Ceramic House, Noritake Japan to develop some of truly beautiful and elegant tableware for Australian Airline Qantas. Noritake, established in 1904, have been masters in the field of bone china and are visibly seen through this collection. This may be the first collaboration between Caon Studio and Noritake, but it is not the first time Noritake have made tableware for Qantas, having designed beautiful collections for the airline since 1962.

This stunning collection comprises of – 5-piece cutlery set made from brushed steel, a 4- piece glassware set made from a lead and barium-free crystal and a 16-piece crockery set made from the exquisitely crafted bone china that Noritake produce so well. Tableware can either compliment a setting or detract from it – in some cases it can even take away from the meal itself – finding the balance between lightweight and soft design can be tough, especially dealing with steel. This delicate, lightweight tableware is carefully thought out and adds a somewhat elegant flair with it’s soft curves found waiting for you at every corner.

An Independence-inspired Sink

Elena (a play on the word elevate) is an ingenious enhancement to the public sink and hand dryer. Particularly useful in restaurant, bar, and store restrooms Eleva is capable of adjusting height to accommodate all types of users so they aren’t forced to rely on others for assistance.

Kids or those confined to wheelchairs will find it ergonomic and easy to use. With just the touch of a button, its inner mechanics (hidden beneath a sleek, minimalist shell) will adjust to the desired height in seconds. Not limited to those with restricted height, taller individuals will also appreciate the optimized experience. Better yet, because it’s an all-in-out system, Eleva requires less space than a standard regular sink and dryer setup!

Analog and Audio Make a Pretty Pairing

Why shouldn’t your clock be a speaker and vice versa?! That’s the idea behind Playtime – a hybrid analog clock/Bluetooth audio player. With its oversized alarm-clock aesthetic and polished finishes, it’s almost unrecognizable as a speaker and that’s precisely its appeal. Even its needle is a disguised digital music playback bar, indicating the duration of the music. Just like you can see the progress bar in your music app, you can also see it on the clock face!
