Greetings!

As I wrote in yesterday's Daily Travel Tip (The Sunday Round-Up goes out to a much larger audience), after almost three years, Covid finally caught up to me. I tested positive for the first time on Friday after having some minor cold symptoms. My doctor put me on Paxlovid since I have a history of asthma and I have to say, it's pretty gnarly tasting stuff. But it seems to be working well. So far, I've only had mild symptoms with the exception of the chills but Tylenol helped reverse those right away.

The difficult part was texting my friends that I was in close contact with and letting them know. They all appreciated it but were pretty blasé  about it. Now let's hope my kids don't get it and that I only have a mild case since I was boosted in October.

🎁 The Christmas Book the Entire Family Will Love and Want to Read Over and Over Againl

The year our son was born, one of our lovely readers recommended the children’s book Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree to us. My wife and I always love getting book recommendations and this one did not disappoint. This charming story fast became a yearly tradition, a story we read frequently over the holiday season. We love everything about it: the adorable characters, the lilting rhythm of the rhyme, the illustrations and of course, most of all, the story itself. So, to whomever recommended this book – an enormous thank you! My children and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect book to read to kids and grandkids throughout the holiday season. Check it out here.
