In case you're not on Facebook, I thought I'd share a quick picture from my garden the other day. Pulling beets!

Beets are a vegetable that you either love or hate. Personally, I love them. So very, very much better than store-bought. If you are one who thinks beets taste like dirt, try homegrown (or farmers market fresh) beets. There is no comparison! ;)

Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate - NEW

'tis the season for fresh, delicious sweet corn. While some people prefer the flavor of frozen corn, and in the past I've done both types, canned corn is convenient and doesn't take up freezer space. :)

Giving Japanese Beetle Traps a Try!

Japanese beetle traps are a bit controversial; some say they work great but some say, yes, they work but they work TOO well and will simply lure in more beetles. We had such a problem with them last year...I decided to try.
