Festive Greetings and Thanks

We understand that this time of year can be especially difficult for those whose lives have been touched by cancer and we want to remind you that we are here for you and your loved ones during this time, with dedicated staff members on call per region and online support groups and resources at your disposal. 

Our CANSA Care Centres close on Friday, 23 December 2022 and re-open on Tuesday, 3 January 2023. Please note that in the case of a medical emergency it is best to contact your local hospital’s emergency room.

We’d love for you to get involved with us, as it takes a community to fight cancer. Have a look at our 2023 CANSA Calendar and sync your personal calendar to ours (we will be adding more details in the New Year so keep this link bookmarked).

If you would like to see what we have been up to in 2021 / 2022, please view our Integrated Report and see how funds and time you have given have been put to use in serving those affected by cancer.

Consider helping us to mobilise more CANSA Volunteers in 2023 – we rely on our volunteers in order to reach cancer patients, loved ones and caregivers in each community across South Africa, but if we do not have the tools or equipment to assist them to be trained, or to help them educate about lowering cancer risk, provide care and support or assist our staff with important administrative or fundraising projects, our volunteers are not able to do their work efficiently.
