The Landscape
Data suggests large US cities saw more people move out than in during 2020, and "secondary cities" are likely to attract workers and companies, says Gay Cororaton of the National Association of Realtors. Big cities are more likely to see job-hopping, which "makes it difficult to develop a corporate culture and team spirit," while smaller cities provide greater stability, says Celigo HR Director Heena Mistry, whose company has expanded to Indianapolis from California.

After June 15, United Airlines will require all new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and it is offering current employees incentives to get the shots. An agreement with the flight attendants' union offers employees up to three additional vacation days if they get vaccinated; an earlier agreement with pilots offers them extra pay.
