Google Meet shifts to full HD

Google Meet will now be available in high-definition video, similar to Microsoft Teams and Zoom, which also support a computer with a 1080p camera. The default will remain 720p, but by the end of May all high-tier business plans for Google Meet will offer the better quality.

Vermont is offering college graduates $5,000 to put toward their student loans if they agree to work for a Vermont-based firm for a minimum of two years -- in a role that requires a four-year degree. The move it aimed at helping strengthen the state's workforce.

In the three months ending in February, tech startups posted about 15% more job opening notices than the global technology giants, according to a report from Revelio Labs. The data suggests that layoffs at larger businesses could be creating recruiting opportunities at smaller ones, and Revelio CEO Ben Zweig suggested that recent banking turmoil will have only a limited effect on growth plans at small firms.
