Caramelized Onion Pasta

This crazy-delicious pasta dish comes together in just under an hour from start to finish. Don’t have that long to spend making dinner (or lunch) in one go? A few weeks ago, I wrote about making and storing caramelized onions whenever you have a little extra time to spend in the kitchen. Keep a stash in your freezer, and the cook time here gets cut down to around 15 minutes (just add the frozen cubes of onion after sautéeing the garlic and chile flakes in the recipe to thaw and warm them through). Toss with noodles, Parmesan, and parsley, and then make sure you bookmark the recipe—this one is definitely going on the must-make-again list.

Don’t forget to salt your pasta water,
