We are SO delighted to be glimpsing the smiling faces of past guests and friends back at Harbin Hot Springs this season.

Weekends have a familiar buzz of beaming souls ritually dipping in hot, warm, and cold spring water, then basking in the sun under the clear blue skies. The evenings and weekdays flash back to times when you could find yourself alone in the hot pool, imagining that the entire world had receded just so you could focus on the flow of the hot spring water and your breath.

The Harbin heartbeat has returned!

You will be pleased to see that an updated version of the “Harbin experience” is in full swing, and quite ready for your highly-anticipated summer sojourn…

Don’t be reserved

Sometimes, an impromptu escape is just what the heart needs for refreshment and renewal. If you agree, you’ll be happy to know that you can now arrive at Harbin without a reservation, and there will be no surcharges. For Virgos and others who like to plan ahead, your “pre-check in” online will help speed up your check in upon arrival. (And making a reservation is still recommended to guarantee availability of our new guest cottages and caravans.) But now you can feel free to motor up here whenever the spirit moves!

Happenings are happening

Our new indoor events center has opened, and has begun to host gatherings focused on development of the body, mind and spirit. It’s just a few steps away from the lower garden, and has a nice, cozy feeling inside. We expect to build an impressive calendar of classes throughout the summer, including yoga, meditations and more, with most provided free to Harbin guests. As our programs get rolling, check out our current events listings online, and be sure to check the postings outside the new center once you arrive.

Pick up the perfect picnic

We might be a tad biased, but we believe the food being served at our Dancing Bear Café could be some of the best fare in our county. It seems that our guests agree. Choose from salads, wraps, soups, sweets and more, plus a great selection of beverages. Shaded outdoor seating is available, creating a sweet way to connect with fellow guests. Or you always can find a picnic spot just steps away in the lovely English-styled garden. Café hours this month are from 8am to 7pm. Bon appetit!

If you’ve been wondering when might be the best time for you to return to Harbin, this is it. And if you’re not ready to commit to a longer visit, do consider a day visit.

We’ve put our hearts (and our sweat) into creating a wonder-full experience for you, and can’t wait to share our love for this land and water with you.
