This Thursday, the European Union is introducing new privacy regulations. Known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR for short), they are designed to give users control over their personal data.

| All website owners need to abide by these new regulations if they have any European subscribers in their email list. Chances are, that includes you. Thankfully, WordPress, MailPoet, and the technology community have made following GDPR quite easy. |
