Today I needed to give a shout out to my favourite neighbourhood in town, because she's *glowing*.

Who is she you ask? Al Quoz — isn't it obvious?

On the outside, she's an industrial estate, home to the Emirates Macaroni Factory and an eclectic pick 'n' mix of car show rooms.

But on the inside, she's a hot ball of art galleries, immaculate cups of coffee, charm stores and restaurants that will become your go-to.

She's even throwing an arts festival this weekend, where you'll catch me visiting all the stands, taking snaps of the funky exhibitions and lining up at the pop-up burger van selling a secret item (but you have to pull your ugliest face to get it).
