The 9th annual UCLA Anderson PULSE Entertainment, Sports & Technology Conference will bring together leading executives in entertainment and technology to share insights and perspective on the biggest opportunities and trends impacting the industry. This year's theme is personalization, and we will explore how a number of consumer and technology trends are increasingly impacting the way we engage with audiences and monetize entertainment and experiences.

Debra Lee

Chairman & CEO, BET

Recently inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame, Debra L. Lee is one of this country's most respected business executives. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Networks, the leading media and entertainment company aimed at African-Americans, she is one of the highest ranking African-American women at the media giant Viacom Inc. A graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Law School, Lee played a key role in taking BET public in 1991. Prior to her appointment as CEO in March 1996, Lee served as the network's executive vice president of strategic business development. In 2003, Lee was given the Distinguished Vanguard Award for Leadership from the National Cable Television Association, making her the first African-American female executive to receive the honor. Under her leadership, BET continues to bring quality programming to our audience of 89 million households.

Kevin Lin

Chief Operating Officer, Twitch

Kevin Lin is Chief Operating Officer of Twitch, the world's leading video platform and community for gamers. Since graduating from Yale in 2004, Kevin has worn many hats in a variety of industries, from working at the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species to running major events and promotions for the NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization-to managing sales and operations at a San Francisco beverage company. Kevin finally found his home in the live online video world with Twtich and is excited to be on the cutting edge of video game broadcasting and competitive gaming as a new form of entertainment for the masses.
