What has Rotaract done for me? Emily Wood

“I’ve been a member of Rotaract ...for ten years. As I age out or ‘graduate,’ I’ve started thinking about what Rotaract has done for me and how it’s shaped who I am today. A decade is a long time to stick with something. So, why have I?” Find out on the Rotary Voices Blog.

Spotlight on service: Water & Sanitation Month

Interactors find way to contribute to water sanitation globally

Water & SanitationThe North Gwinnett High School Interact Club of Georgia, USA partnered with their sponsoring Rotary club to build Water Pasteurization Indictors (WAPI) that measure water quality. A WAPI is a low-cost thermometer that lets people know when boiling water has reached a safe temperature to drink. In one day, the club made 400 WAPIs to send to parts of the world without clean access to water. Watch the video that shows their project in action.

Share your service story! Post your project on Rotary Showcase and email the link to newgenerations@rotary.org
