Youngsville commercial buildings sell for $8M

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

So how is that Youngsville commercial market doing lately?

Three buildings in the Metairie Center shopping center were sold to a national commercial real estate management firm for $8.175 million.

It's something I'm watching from a distance as the more businesses enter that market and home construction continues in Sugar Mill Pond.

More parcels are being sold along the edges of Sugar Mill Pond, and now there are properties south of the spors complex that are for sale.

Hard to believe 20 years ago people thought building an affordably priced River Ranch-type development in the middle of a field might not work.

You can read my story here.
