Drinks with a mew: Visit up to 30 cats at new cat cafe in Roseville

The Cafe Meow, a cat cafe that helps rehome rescue cats, has officially moved to a revamped space in Roseville, Minn. “So far the new location seems to be well loved by the community,” said owner Jessica Burge, who closed the Uptown Minneapolis location in late August after outgrowing the space.

Saving art — and history — in Moorhead

A Moorhead, Minn., art gallery is working to save a large mural painted more than half a century ago. The mural was created by Cyrus Running, who started the art department at Concordia College in Moorhead.

Keep on rockin': University of Minnesota's Radio K celebrates 30 years. When you turn the dial up several frequencies to 100.7 FM or 104.5 FM, you could hear anything from Indie Pop to Japanese post-rock and everything in between. And that is the beauty of college radio. On Oct. 1, the University of Minnesota’s student-run station, Radio K is turning 30 years old.

The best women's hockey players in the world aren't the only ones in the sport excited about the new pro league launching in January. Many of the biggest stars across the NHL are eager to see the Professional Women's Hockey League and hope it thrives.
