While it’s early, the Canadian model shows a trend toward mostly rain for the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota Thursday into Friday, with a potential shot of snow as the system sweeps by through Friday night. There may also be a little thunder with this system.Get the latest on Updraft.

St. Paul, Minneapolis lift parking restrictions

One-sided parking no more: Both cities are lifting their winter parking restrictions starting today at 8 a.m.

St. Paul’s Director of Public Works Sean Kershaw said he realizes the parking restrictions were a “challenge for many residents who need on-street parking,” but that residents who complied helped ensure city and emergency vehicles could access all parts of the cities.

Minneapolis' restrictions have been in place since Jan. 25. St. Paul instituted their parking restrictions on March 10.
 
What else we're watching:
On the stand, Tony Lazzaro admits to giving money to teen after sex, but denies it was transactional. Testifying in his own defense yesterday, Lazzaro faces federal charges of giving five girls cash and gifts in exchange for sex. Prosecutors allege he paid his then-18-year-old co-defendant to find other sex partners for him. Lazzaro denies that.
