🌧️ A small ripple in the atmosphere could produce a few morning showers around the Twin Cities area on Wednesday. Then the atmosphere reloads for the lately-typical chance of late-afternoon thundershowers.

🍨 Behind the scenes of the new State Fair foods: How do vendors get picked? Maria Hayden is a spokesperson for the Minnesota State Fair and she joined Minnesota Now to explain how many submissions the selection committee ate their way through, and how the new vendors made the cut.

🚬 Duluth officials propose criminalizing public encampments, smoking in the skyway. Duluth city officials want to make several activities misdemeanor crimes, including camping on city property and smoking or vaping tobacco or cannabis in the city skyway system.

🗳️ Analyst: Democratic division over Biden could sway elections in Minnesota. Over the weekend, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig, Minnesota's 2nd District incumbent, called on Biden to step aside and let another Democratic candidate take on former President Donald Trump.

🍹 ID please. Should kids be able to buy nonalcoholic beer, wine and mocktails? Most states currently don’t have age limits for buying zero-proof beverages that look and taste like beer, wine and liquor. But some researchers argue they could be a gateway into drinking for kids.

🏀 Lynx beat Sparks 82-67 for their seventh straight victory in Los Angeles. Minnesota took control early by making 11 of its first 16 shots. Minnesota has won seven straight games in Los Angeles and 13 of the last 14 meetings with the Sparks overall.
