It’s one of the deadliest attacks of the two-and-a-half-year war. In between air raid sirens, NPR's Joanna Kakissis reports from Kyiv. 🏒 Minnesota's Professional Women's Hockey team may not have a name yet, but it does have a new general manager. On Tuesday, the team announced Melissa Caruso would take the position that's been vacant since the team dropped its previous GM one week after winning the league's inaugural championship. While she has plenty of business experience, Caruso has never played hockey, scouted or helped to build a roster. Ian Kennedy, writer with The Hockey News, joins us with more. 🌿 Minnesota has more than 300 rare native plant species, but some of them haven't been seen for decades. A new program is using volunteers to help search for the plants, and collect seeds to preserve genetic material. PlantWatch is a partnership of the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the Minnesota DNR. Collaborators include the Bell Museum of Natural History, the Minnesota Native Plant Society and the Minnesota Master Naturalist program. | |

| | Man accused of driving car into outdoor patio in St. Louis Park faces 11 criminal charges | The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office filed 11 criminal charges Tuesday against the man they say killed two people and injured nine others at a St. Louis Park restaurant Sunday night. According to the charges, Steven Frane Bailey, 56, drove his car into the outdoor patio at the Park Tavern. Kristina Folkerts, a server at Park Tavern, and Gabe Harvey, a patron on the patio, were killed. Both were 30 years old, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. Bailey is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and nine counts of criminal vehicular operation. | |
