Mankato project finds racial covenants in a cemetery and beyond

Get the latest on Updraft. 🎙️Coming up on Morning Edition: Some Minnesotans are finding out that despite new federal guidelines around blood donations, they still can't donate. The FDA recently relaxed its guidance allowing more gay, bisexual and trans people to give blood. But organizations that take donations say it could be months before those new rules are implemented. And, a four-year research project by Minnesota State University, Mankato found evidence of segregation in the city — even after death.
