Killing of Fargo police officer leaves questions about motive

The Fargo police department is reeling from what the police chief called one of the most horrific days the in the department's history after three Fargo police officers were shot late Friday afternoon on a busy street. The suspected gunman also was shot and killed by a fourth officer.

 
Rising interest rates challenge Minnesota home buyers, sellers

Rising interest rates have reshaped the housing market in Minnesota. There are still many more buyers than sellers, but bidding wars are rarer and prices are more stable.  

Higher interest rates have made buying a home more expensive. The interest rate on an average 30-year-mortgage currently stands at nearly seven percent, according to federal government statistics. It has not been below three percent since the fall of 2021.
