Hey there,

Just a quick note I wanted to share with you on something we’re pretty excited about. I’ve been at Cynopsis - now Head of Content & Strategic Partnerships and Chairman of Events at Cynopsis Sports & Esports - for over eight years, and in that span, it’s been hard to find a community so intrigued and excited by a new sports platform as they are about esports. There are the crazy numbers of course, like the fact that the industry is on pace to reach $2 billion in revenue by 2020 and data projecting esports as the fastest-growing sports segment in the world!

But perhaps most exciting for global brands, organizations and media are the fans and the players. There is an enormous opportunity in their collective passion for organizations and outlets that want to create meaningful connections with them and the games, teams, and content creators they love.

As the leading source for content covering the sports and specifically the esports communities, we felt the pulse. And we heard the industry’s need for a way to connect the entire ecosystem. It’s why we created the Esports Business Summit last year, and why this year’s event is back, bigger than ever and loaded with brands, media, publishers, teams, leagues and experts who can show you the path to the world of esports marketing.

Here’s just a taste of the content we’ve designed just for you:

THE MAIN STAGE
Brad Hiranaga, Chief Brand Officer North America with General Mills, Greg Via, Global Director–Head of Sports with P&G Gillette and Ryan Wyatt, Global Head of Gaming and AR/VR, Content and Partnerships Esports and Entertainment with YouTube, are your keynote speakers. From their expert viewpoints, you will hear insights on the power of brand building and the revenue growth esports delivers.

THE BREAKOUTS
Our executive-level speakers are not solely a faculty of experts, but a community of practitioners doing the real, hard work of learning and forging a path in esports. Through deep-dive workshops and laser-focused breakout sessions, they are committed to answering your burning questions that will set you up with the success strategies you need for your esports investments in 2019 and beyond. In addition, we will be hearing from some of the biggest content creators in the world, who engage with millions of fans everyday.

THE EXPO HALL
Find the latest and greatest in technology, production, media and design. Test out and try on the hottest gear and hardware. See the best in esports broadcasting. Learn to play some games. Need licensing support? Check! Get hands-on with it all. Leading partners in that category will be there, too.

EXPANDED NETWORKING
Like esports, our networking is unconventional, too. We’re taking over the bays at Topgolf with Super League Gaming for a night of food, drinks, swings and even a live tournament. Take a step inside the world of Panem as created in the Hunger Games films. You can even learn how to throw axes at local Las Vegas favorite, Axe Monkeys. And this is only some of the EBS fun! The full networking schedule can be viewed here.

THE TEMPEST AWARDS
This year’s Tempest Awards gala will be held at the HyperX Esports Arena and emceed by ESPN’s own Arda Ocal. Be a part of the biggest celebratory night in the industry as we dine, raise a glass and get inspired by the best in the biz. Cheer on this year’s Hall of Fame inductees Ed Boon, Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat & Injustice and Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios and Sundance DiGiovanni, Co-Founder of MLG and CTRL. This is a can’t miss and a great way to get to know who’s who, and who’s doing what—well—in esports right now. Tickets can be purchased with your registration.

THE VEGAS EXPERIENCE
Vegas in September? Not too shabby. Pools are still open, friends. And we have secured a limited block of discounted rooms at the MGM Grand. Reserve yours by August 16th to take advantage of lowered rates. Make sure to book your room during your registration.

It’s all happening in just six weeks and we don’t want you to miss out! Register today to lock in your seats with promo code CP2019.

It’s a thrilling time to be in esports. We hope you’ll come learn more about it with us this September.

See you there!

Chris Pursell
