🏥 9 men trying to enter U.S. from Canada treated for exposure
Nine men who entered the United States illegally from Canada were rescued from a sub-freezing bog and given medical treatment for exposure to the cold, authorities said Wednesday.
✒️ North Dakota governor signs law limiting trans health care
North Dakota’s Republican Gov. Doug Burgum has signed a veto-proof bill into law that restricts transgender health care and criminalizes providers who give gender-affirming care to people under 18. The new law takes effect immediately. 
📰 BuzzFeed to close news division, cut 15 percent of all staff
Pulitzer Prize winning digital media company BuzzFeed will shut down its news division as it cuts another 15 percent of its staff across the company, adding to layoffs made earlier this year.
📜 House approves trans athlete ban for girls and women's teams
The bill approved by a 219-203 party-line vote is unlikely to advance further because the Democratic-led Senate will not support it and the White House said President Joe Biden would veto it.
