Minnesota House passes marijuana bill, more hurdles ahead
The Minnesota House has passed a bill to legalize adult-use recreational marijuana in the state 71 to 59. A companion bill in the Senate is set to be debated Friday.

Flooding, lock closures halt barge traffic on stretch of Mississippi River
Eight locks in Minnesota and Wisconsin are temporarily closed as river levels are unsafe for navigation. Some areas have the highest water levels seen in more than 20 years.
