The Supreme Court’s decision last June to strike down Roe v. Wade triggered immediate abortion restrictions in many states. A year later, the legal landscape continues to shift. Here’s where things stand currently with Minnesota and other states across the Midwest.
🚓 Jan. 6 rioter who used a stun gun on Officer Michael Fanone sentenced to prison
Daniel Joseph "DJ" Rodriguez, 40, of Fontana, Calif., was sentenced to 12.5 years. Officer Fanone served on the Metropolitan Police Department Officer for nearly two decades before resigning in 2021.
⚾ Kyle Farmer's single in the 10th inning carries Twins to a 5-4 win over the Red Sox
Kyle Farmer hit a game-winning single that scored automatic runner Willi Castro from third base and the Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 5-4 in 10 innings.
