Metrodome down: Remembering Minnesota's epic 2010 snow storm
Twelve years ago this week, the Metrodome collapsed after the fifth-larges snowfall ever in the Twin Cities. Shakopee saw the highest total at 21.5” and the airport closed for 19 hours.

🍃 Road map for legal marijuana in Minnesota already exists
Legislation passed by the House in 2021 came out of more than a dozen town hall meetings throughout the state. Under that plan, the sale of marijuana would generate about $180 million in revenue for Minnesota.
🚬 Supreme Court won't block California flavored tobacco ban
Nearly two-thirds of voters approved of banning the sale of everything from cotton-candy vaping juice to menthol cigarettes. Supporters of the ban say the law was necessary to put a stop to a staggering rise in teen smoking.
🎥 Golden Globe noms led by 'Banshees,' 'Everything Everywhere'
The Globes are trying to mount a comeback this year. A Los Angeles Times investigation in early 2021 found that the group then had no Black members, a revelation compounded by other allegations of ethical improprieties.
