Heads up deer hunters: New rules in effect this season
The DNR has lessened the number of deer people can take in certain areas, plus kept low deer bag limits. Other new rules revolve around deer archery licenses, chronic wasting disease and non-toxic ammo.

After decades of providing a community space for fitness and public service, the uptown and downtown locations of YWCA Minneapolis will close on Nov. 1.
⚡ Proposed Minnesota high-voltage 180-mile power line could cost $1B
The project is one of several new high-voltage power lines utilities want to build across the Upper Midwest in the next several years. It was one of 18 transmission projects approved last year by the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, which operates the Midwest’s electric grid.
