Best friend mourns bandmate killed in Minneapolis punk show mass shooting
Bryan May said August Golden, 35, was a talented artist, songwriter and photographer. Golden was killed in a mass shooting at a house venue known as Nudieland.

Minneapolis punk scene reeling after death of musician in mass shooting

🚱 Brainerd boil water advisory continues
A boil water advisory is still in effect in Brainerd, Minn.,  after the advisory was issued on Thursday.
🕯️ Clarence Avant, a major power broker in music, sports and politics, has died at 92
Clarence Avant boosted the careers of a vast array of influential figures, including Michael Jackson, Jim Brown and Barack Obama. He came back into the news after his wife was murdered in 2021.

Sonny Gray tossed two-hit ball over six shutout innings, reliever Caleb Thielbar pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh and Jordan Luplow homered to lead the Minnesota Twins to a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
