Walz: No special session on school resource officer law for now

Gov. Tim Walz on Friday told MPR News that new clarifications of the state’s student prone law have helped local police agencies and school districts reset contracts for school resource officers.

💰 Minnesota attorney general to investigate student debt companies

Attorney General Keith Ellison announced the inquiry earlier this week, days after interest on student loans began accruing again. Student loan payments had been paused for more than three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Duluth International Airport has lost about 10 percent of its air service between 2019 and 2022, according to data from Rally For Airforce Services. Rochester lost more than half of its flights during that same time period. And the trend rings true around the nation.

Dangerous Man Brewing will draw its final pint at its Northeast Minneapolis taproom on Oct. 21. Its growler shop will close a few weeks earlier on Oct. 1.
