Minneapolis woman’s remains identified after 23 years; investigators seek help in cold case
At the time, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) forensic scientists obtained DNA from the remains but it did not match to anyone in the missing persons or convicted offender databases. Despite exhaustive investigative efforts over the years, who she was and how she died remained unknown.
💉 COVID-19 trends upward as new boosters arrive
Newly-released tests of the boosters so far suggest it is largely effective against the most commonly circulating COVID-19 variants (EG5 and FL 1.5.1) as well as the emerging BA.2.86 variant, even though it was specifically designed to combat a variant that has since waned (XBB.1.5).  
🚆 Metro Transit to add more Northstar trips to lure passengers
Beginning Oct. 2, the rail service will make three southbound trips each weekday morning, and three southbound trips each weekday afternoon.
