The Minneapolis City Council on Tuesday decided to abandon a proposal to house 3rd Precinct officers in a building downtown for the next decade.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office says it’s now reviewing the findings of an investigation into the July 31 fatal shooting of a Black man by a Minnesota state trooper along Interstate 94 in Minneapolis.

A small group of people gathered over the weekend in Wayzata, Minn., on a pedestrian bridge over Highway 12, displaying banners and signs with white supremacist rhetoric on them.
🕯️ Minnesota hockey legend Henry Boucha dies at age 72
The star Ojibwe player led Warroad High School to the state tournament in 1969, earned a silver medal in the 1972 Winter Olympics and played the NHL with his trademark headband.
