Striking auto workers in Twin Cities area nearing two weeks on picket line
Some 25,000 United Auto Workers members across the country are continuing to take part in targeted strikes against the Big Three automakers. That includes Twin Cities area workers — and Friday will mark two weeks since they started picketing.

🏠 St. Paul City Council considers eliminating single-family-only zoning
City planners said the proposed changes would create much-needed affordable housing throughout the city by allowing greater density and access to public transportation. More than a dozen St. Paul residents spoke in favor of the proposed changes.

It happened at about 7:45 p.m. near the corner of Maryland Avenue and Hazelwood Street. “Multiple 911 callers and an officer on patrol reported hearing shots fired in the area. These calls eventually led officers to the 1200 block of Hazelwood Street where three teenage female victims were located.”
🦒 Customs agents seize box of giraffe poop at Minneapolis airport
Yep, you read that right. Why? Jewelry. The woman told an officer that she planned to use the giraffe droppings in a necklace. The excrement was taken and destroyed by agriculture specialists.
