Tuition and fees covered for eligible students at NDSU in new program
The program will cover eligible students’ tuition and fees after any scholarships and awards that the students have. In order to qualify, students need to be in their first or second year of college, receive a Pell grant and have a family income of $80,000 a year or less.

White Earth group has been quietly re-writing wrongs, correcting Native veterans headstones
For 30 years, Budd Parker and other volunteers have been quietly researching Native veterans and replacing their headstones at cemeteries on the White Earth reservation with new ones that correct their names.

In September, a professor of journalism died unexpectedly of natural causes. The obituaries of the three students say they all lost their battles with depression. Two of these students were from Minnesota. Last year, 43 percent of the student body came from Minnesota.
🚓 MPD announces new appointments for planned reorganization
Calling it one of the most significant changes to the Minneapolis Police Department in the modern era, Chief Brian O’Hara announced Friday the appointees who will shepherd through his planned reorganization of the department.
