St. Paul mayor: Overdue maintenance should come from sales tax increase
Mayor Melvin Carter said streets have been in disrepair for a long time and a large investment is necessary. His office estimates the proposal would generate $1 billion over 20 years.

🌡️ Preliminary evidence: Missing Stillwater man likely died of exposure to cold
Authorities say 20-year-old George Musser, of Stillwater, likely died of cold weather exposure after going missing over the weekend. He was a student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
