Senate leader Dziedzic says she’ll leave top post amid health complications

DFL Sen. Kari Dziedzic of Minneapolis says the cancer she battled during last year’s legislative session has returned. At the start of a new session, she plans to step back from leadership once her caucus names her replacement.

Target pulls Black History Month product after TikTok video

In the video, TikTok user Issa Tete said she bought the “Civil Rights Magnetic Learning Kit,” featuring magnets of historical Black figures at the Minneapolis-based retailer. She shows how historical photographs don’t match up to the illustrated magnets.

🏢 Fire that damaged offices of MN conservative organizations investigated as arson
The Golden Valley building houses the offices of the Center for the American Experiment, TakeCharge and the Upper Midwest Law Center, among others. The organizations say they believe they were targeted for their political stances.
🌍 U.S. hits hard at militias in Iraq and Syria, retaliating for fatal drone attack
The U.S. military launched an air assault on dozens of sites in Iraq and Syria used by Iranian-backed militias and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Friday, in the opening salvo of retaliation for the drone strike that killed three U.S. troops in Jordan last weekend,
⚾ Twins games will continue to air on regional network under reworked deals
Diamond Sports Group has filed amended rights agreements with a federal bankruptcy judge to carry the team's games this upcoming season, along with Cleveland Guardians and Texas Rangers broadcasts. A hearing on the agreements will be held next Friday.
