'Accessible and affordable': Minnesota online private tutoring service launches Sama Shamat has created an online tutoring platform called Rise for Learning with the goal of connecting people of all ages to professionals and private tutors for a wide range of subjects. The entrepreneur was born in Syria and moved to Minnesota from Saudi Arabia in 2000. Read here Study: Freshwater fish contain concerning levels of ‘forever chemical’ Researchers with nonprofit Environmental Working Group calculated that eating one fish a year was equal to ingesting water with PFOS at 48 parts per trillion for a month, much higher than what the Minnesota Department of Health considers a safe level for drinking water.
