Enjoy this week. It's about to get a lot colder. Highs this week will run in the 20s across most of Minnesota with a few highs in the teens up north. Brace for the coldest temps in six weeks this weekend, likely to last through early February.

Group hopes body camera ruling leads to change in other Minnesota cases
A judge has ordered the Minnesota Department of Public Safety to release video of an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead northwest of St. Cloud last April. The video hasn't been released yet because of other "open criminal investigations."

Passerby alerts residents of burning Duluth home, shovels snow to douse flames
A Duluth home caught fire this morning. A passerby's solution? Shovel show onto the flames. And it worked: They put out 90 percent of the fire and nobody was hurt, though exterior damage could cost $10,000 to $20,000 in repairs.

❄️ S.D. tribe: Pine Ridge reservation storm deaths 'could have been prevented'
A 12-year-old was among six dead in the December storm — because an ambulance couldn't get to his home in time to help him. Snow buried the reservation. Tribe officials say help "was a political stunt that did nothing to help the people that were in trouble."
🕯️Update: An 11th person has died in the Monterey Park, CA shooting
A mass shooting over the weekend at a dance studio in Monterey Park, CA killed 11 people and left nine others injured. One victim remains in serious condition.
