Minnesota U.S. Rep. Angie Craig was assaulted in her apartment building this morning in Washington, her chief of staff says, adding they do not believe the attack was politically motivated. The assailant fled and she is bruised but OK.

The company that proposed a $400 million wood mill in the small town of Cohasset, Minn., no longer plans to pursue permitting and construction of the facility. It comes after a court ordered the city to reconsider its environmental review of the project.
