State authorities and weather forecasters plead for caution and vigilance as a massive multiday snowstorm arrives to Minnesota. A bill that would permit felons to vote again after leaving jail or prison is making significant progress in the Minnesota Legislature right now. Basically, once a person leaves custody they’d have their voting rights automatically restored. It already passed the House; this is the last stop before Gov. Tim Walz's expected signature.
