Man pleads guilty to murder for shooting girl caught in Minneapolis gunfire
A Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty in the May 2021 death of a 9-year-old girl shot while jumping on a trampoline. He'll receive a 37 1/2-year sentence.

Minneapolis police investigating vandalism at 'crisis pregnancy center'
The center reported broken windows and spray-paint, at least the third incident of vandalism targeting abortion opponents in the cities since Roe v. Wade's overturn.

❄️ Burst of overnight snow causes slushy roads, school delays across Minnesota
The National Weather Service received reports of 3 to 6 inches across a wide swath of the state early Monday, including the Twin Cities. A few locations reported more than a half-foot — including 7.5 inches at Oakdale and 7.4 inches near Holyoke.
🏈 Vikings release veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks
High-profile Eric Kendricks is an eight-year veteran and has played his entire career with Minnesota. He led the team in tackles the past two seasons. The Vikings has terminated Kendricks' contract, part of the league-wide shakeout of roster moves.
🚓 Robbinsdale police ask for BCA review on circumstances re: Khalil Azad’s death
Police will release body camera footage early this week of the last known moments of a young Black man’s life to address mounting community concerns around his death. 24-year-old Khalil Ahmad Azad was found dead in Crystal Lake in July, two days after Robbinsdale police attempted to pull him over for a traffic stop.
